- Student images and personal information are collected solely for the purpose of providing school photography services.
- Access to student images and information is restricted to authorised personnel involved in photography, image processing, administration and order fulfilment.
- Images and personal information are stored on password-protected devices and secure systems.
- Personal information is not sold, shared or disclosed to third parties except where required to provide photography services or where required by law.
- Children's images are not used for marketing, advertising, social media or website promotion without appropriate consent.
Consent and photography
- Photography services are conducted in accordance with each school's policies and procedures.
- Schools and families are provided with information regarding photography arrangements.
- Any student identified by the school as not permitted to be photographed will be excluded from photography in accordance with school instructions.
Data retention and disposal
- Student images and related information are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, manage orders and meet business record-keeping obligations.
- When information is no longer required, it is securely deleted or destroyed.
Third-party providers
- Where third-party service providers are engaged for printing, ordering systems or secure storage, reasonable steps are taken to ensure they maintain appropriate privacy and security standards.
Child safety
- Playground School Portraits is committed to creating a safe and respectful environment for all children.
- Photographers and staff attending schools hold current Working With Children Checks where required.
- Staff are expected to act professionally, respectfully and in accordance with each school's child safety requirements at all times.
